{"id":565,"date":"2019-07-10T14:40:05","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T12:40:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dempseys.co.za\/gh\/update-on-our-frangipani-seed-pod-seedlings\/"},"modified":"2019-07-10T14:40:05","modified_gmt":"2019-07-10T12:40:05","slug":"update-on-our-frangipani-seed-pod-seedlings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dempseys.co.za\/gh\/update-on-our-frangipani-seed-pod-seedlings\/","title":{"rendered":"Update on our frangipani seed pod seedlings."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In early 2015, we shared <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dempseys.co.za\">our<\/a> exciting discovery of the frangipani pod in our garden. <a href=\"https:\/\/dempseys.co.za\/gh\/fascinating-frangipani-pod-in-dempseys-garden\/\">https:\/\/dempseys.co.za\/gh\/fascinating-frangipani-pod-in-dempseys-garden\/<\/a>\u00a0We&#8217;ve been slack in reporting on the growth progress but we have these\u00a0recent photos to show you that the four &#8216;seed survivors&#8217; are thriving. We managed to save approximately 18 seeds, we planted them and once they were &#8216;shooting&#8217;, we gave a\u00a0few away as gifts.\u00a0This was around May last year. Later a snail gang wiped out a further\u00a0few seedlings and we were left with only four plants, these\u00a0we have nurtured.
