Originally established by the Sunday’s River Women’s Institute in 1983, the Addo Rose & Garden Show turns 30 this year. Rose lovers, floral artists and garden enthusiasts will flock to the Addo country side again this year to experience the exquisite rose displays in the exhibition hall and participate in the many family activities being planned for the weekend. Just a short 50 minute drive from Nelson Mandela Bay,(and Dempsey’s Guest House) a visit to the Valentine Hall in Addo will lead you to a tranquil garden setting with a hive of activities, handmade home décor and garden products, as well as a wide selection of fresh farm and deli products to tantalize your taste buds. The serene Sunday’s River Valley offers many beautiful sites to visit. With the air filled with the scent of orange blossoms, the beauty and simplicity of the area is unique and brings the sense of peace and tranquility to our usually fast paced lives. The event runs from Saturday 12th – Sunday 13th October at the Valentine Hall. Gates open to public at 9.00am till 5.00pm both days.
