From Port Elizabeth /Chief Dawid Stuurman Airport: From the terminal area follow the exit signs to the traffic circle and turn left into 3rd Avenue. At the traffic lights turn left into Heugh Road. Take the third street on the right, turn right into 6th Avenue and then the seventh street on the left, turn left into Lloyd Road. Dempsey’s Guest House is No. 36 on the left hand side.

From Grahamstown/Makhanda: From the N2 bear left onto the M4 Settlers Freeway. Take the Albany Road offramp, cross the first intersection over Govan Mbeki Avenue and continue straight up the hill. At Cape Road go straight and then descend Targetkloof. After the road levels out at the bottom, half way up the hill, turn left at the traffic lights into 6th Avenue, then turn right into Lloyd Road. Dempsey’s Guest House is No. 36 on the left hand side.

From Cape Town: From the N2 take the City/Cape Road offramp and then merge to the right which leads you onto Cape Road. Continue on Cape Road through Newton Park and past Netcare Greenacres Hospital. Continue straight at Mount Road then turn right, NOT half-right, at “Five Ways”, the intersection with Albany Road. Then descend Targetkloof. After the road levels out at the bottom, half way up the hill, turn left at the traffic lights into 6th Avenue, then turn right into Lloyd Road. Dempsey’s Guest House is No. 36 on the left hand side.
