Thumbs up to Jacques of Engen Service Station in Bluewater Bay, PE for being kind and thoughtful towards Swedish tourists last night who were a bit lost and off track. They approached Jacques at the Engen garage in Bluewater Bay, expressed their anxiety about finding their way to check in with us at Dempsey’s. Jacques promptly phoned us, explained the situation and asked if we could perhaps meet our guests and guide them home. Of course we were able to do this and while we were en route to meet our guests, Jacques kindly stayed with them until we arrived, making sure that we found each other. Our guests were most grateful and said that they had been told about how friendly the residents of Port Elizabeth are – they were suitably impressed with their first two experiences in The Friendly City of Port Elizabeth!
